Bazıları hastaneden korkarlar. İğne atılmak ve röntgeninizin çekilmesi sizi korkutur. Bir de küçük bir köpeğin benzer bir ortama sokulduğunu düşünün. Neyse ki Dennis Moses ismindeki veteriner köpeğin korktuğunu farkederek olaya el attı.
Geçtiğimiz sene BARCS Animal Shelter, Dennis’in yavru bir köpeği kısırlaştırıldıktan ve anestezinin etkisi geçmeye başladıktan sonra rahatlatışına ait video paylaştı. Minik köpek Meesha neler olup bittiğinin farkında değildi ve korkuyordu.
Dennis köpeği kucağına alarak sessiz bir koridora götürdü. Sonra köpeği yavaşça kucağında salladı ve onu rahatlatmaya başladı.
Dennis’in arkadaşlarından biri o anı kaydetmeyi başardı.
Baby Meesha was coming off her anesthesia and was a little scared because her body felt so weird. BARCS Surgical Assistant Dennis Moses took her out into the quiet hallway to comfort her. One of our awesome volunteers just happened to be walking by to capture this sweet moment. Thank you to Dennis and all the staff who work long, tireless hours in the background of our shelter—saving lives and loving the animals. (Turn on the sound, it will melt your heart!)

Meesha, Dennis’in rahatlattığı tek köpek değil. Geçtiğimiz günlerde BARCS Animal Shelter, veterinerin başka bir köpeği rahatlattığı bir video daha paylaştı. Bu köpek ise operasyondan yeni çıkmıştı.
Dennis bu videoda Sokka ismindeki köpeğe sarılıyor ve beraber uyuyorlar.
You might remember BARCS Veterinary Technician Dennis M., whose video captured the hearts of millions when he rocked a scared puppy after anesthesia began to wear off. One of his fellow vet techs caught him again yesterday holding on tight to a much larger dog, Sokka, who was feeling the weird after effects of anesthesia. Sokka had emergency surgery to save her life right at our shelter. Because her case was so severe, we knew she wouldn't make it to an ER vet. We'll share Sokka's full story a little later today—as of right now she is still alive but very critical. For now watch Dennis hold tight to a big Labrador Retriever who had a very, very scary day.
